I happen to know for a fact that it is forbidden by Allah for any man to force his female mate to worship him

There is only ONE WHO is worthy of worship and no man is to step in and play God with his wife. Allah says to only fear ""ME"" and no one else. If any man abuses his wife or makes her fear him more then, he is not a true Muslim at all. A female has equal rights in Islam and no one has the right to attempt to take her gift from her in which was given to her by our ONE and ONLY Creator. So, in having said this, everyone should stop the stereotyping about women in Islam. If you see any man who claims to be a Muslim and he is abusing his wife in any shape, fashion or manner then, you see a kafir or a hypocrite.
