Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: Nuray: Basic Arabic , kissing a stone, and Allah ...

"Ahl al-kitab" as you know, means the "people of the book". I previously heard that as the Islamic empire expanded, probably Hindus and Buddhists were put into such category. Opinions may vary concerning this issue, but again they were never mentioned by the name in the Quran, as in the case of Christianity and Judaism.

About your four questions, I really don't think any one is interested in what I believe, but rather ideas and information that anyone could share.

For the fourth question, you again assume that Allah means exclusively the God which Arabs used to believe in, rather than the supreme God which Arabs and non-Arabs believe in. Now that I got evidence that Allah is God, can you prove your claim that Allah is the moon or that he is just "that pre-Islamic Arabian pagan deity".

I am sure you are too lazy to do so. In fact none of your comments were cited and you even didn't mention any internet source. You didn't mention the name of the book which Karen Armstrong said that "the term ahl al-kitab includes Hindus and Buddhists". Too much work for you, eh?

And hey, I know that you are not concerned about ANYTHING, I GOT THE MESSAGE !!!
