Dear Nurray,

I think you misunderstood the Bible. What jesus was trying to emphasize was that his disciples should put God first in all their dealings. Now, if you put God first there is just no way you wont love your father, sister, mother, brother and yourself because this is the message of God and Jesus to mankind-love. For a better understanding of this verse read the following in the Bible:Mathew:6:33;Galatians 5:24;Philipians 3:8;colasians 2:18;2Timothy 2:11. I gave these verses in the Bible because they capture properly what Jesus meant.

Now concerning Mark 3:31-35 and luke 11:27-28,I dont see any problems with those verses from the Bible. We all know that Mary the biological mother of Jesus did the will of God that was why she was chosen to bear Jesus. So by virtue of that she is qualified to be called Jesus`s mother. Now,let me ask you this question:Does calling your fellow muslims brothers or sisters mean that you do not have any duty to your biological brothers or sisters?

Luke 11:27-28:I dont see any thing wrong with that statement. The underlying message of God in the Bible is love. How can you be blessed if you do not follow that principle.God is not a partial God. Simply because Mary gave birth to Jesus does not mean she should be blessed if she does not follow that principle. The God who created Mary also created other women and loves them as much as he loves Mary so Mary must join the queue. You dont even need to be a christian or a muslim to experience God`s blessings when you abide by that principle.

Atim.
