Kosovo comes to mind

Reader comment on item: Reflections on the Revolution in France*

Submitted by Steve Masterson (United States), Nov 9, 2005 at 10:25

Now I am finally starting to understand the Serbian position on Kosovo before we bombed the Serbs in 1998. Before 1998, the Albanians rioted regularly, attacked the police, burned buildings, and made the same claims as the French Muslims. Once NATO took over, the Albanian KLA ethnically cleansed the Serbs and other non-Muslims while the West watched. From what I gather, today Al-Qaeda operates freeling in Kosovo and in the Muslim parts of Bosnia. I wonder what the Serbs think of all this now?
