Quran says nothing about Mohammed, Response to Nuray

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: Why is Islam fastest-growing religion ?

Submitted by Mamdouh M. (United States), Nov 2, 2005 at 22:57

Dear Nuray: I am a born muslim and know quran like the back of my hands. There is nothing about Mohammed"s life in quran. Everything we know about Mohammed is from sira and sahih hadiths. Quran does not even tell you how to pray, when to pray and how to perform Haj. Dont you know quran was compiled by the very same souces who quoted all hadiths. How can you deny sahih hadiths?
