The Truth is that Muslims use Caution when using the Bible to expand the Quran

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: Quran has contradictions on Noah : Christians don't read their Bible correctly

Please since when do Muslim say of the Koran what Biblical scholars say. The names of Ham , Shem Jappeth are not based on Koran. It seems that those earlier believers from Christianity & Judaism brought their interpretation of Noah's sons as the basis for dividing nations. It is not rather Christians read their Bible I am concerned with. It is that Muslims read the Bible and take it as an extension, explanation or accurate portrayal to the Holy Quran .
" they change the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, nor wilt thou cease to find them- barring a few - ever bent on (new) deceits: but forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind) Quran Al-maeda 13.
"And, behold, there are indeed some among them who distort the (Book) Bible with their tongues, so as to make you think that [what they say] is from the (Book) Bible, the while it is not from the Bible; and who say, "This is from God," the while it is not from God: and thus do they tell a lie about God, being well aware [that it is a lie]) Quran Al-Imran 78.
