"Perhaps we should also consider non-permanent refuge for Muslims - with the goal of re-settlement back home once peace and civility is restored in the Muslim homeland. Nowhere are the Palestinian absorbed as citizens; why should other Muslims today not be made to wait to return to where they came from?" - this is exactly my stance. Citizenship should never be granted to new residents who can then pass it to their offspring. And residency should be easily revoked.

Arab countries are wise and never allow fellow Arabs or Muslims to settle in their lands let alone get naturalised. We,Europeans, are stupid. Helping refugee civilians - yes. Naturalising sneaky, hostile, unabsorbable culturally elements - no.
