The real problem is neither "muslims" nor "islamists"

Reader comment on item: Smoking Out Islamists via Extreme Vetting

Submitted by marlan (Belgium), Feb 1, 2017 at 06:22

The real problem is neither "muslims", nor "islamists", but islam, a violent totalitarian ideology masquerading as religion.
The question is not whether there is a difference, and at what degree, between "moderate Nazis" and Waffen SS, but the Nazism.
The question is not whether there is a difference, and at what degree, between "moderate Bolsheviks" and Gulag torturers, but the bolshevik "communism" (or any effectively applied so called communism).

This sort of head-in-the-sand tirade does not help deal with a real and urgent issue.
