This from a country where one cannot walk a half a block in London and not be admonished by billboards guiltily pleading to "Not Be Racist". Derived from England's finest, Shakespeare:" The warning doth protest too much".
Europeans must, in general, take themselves off the guilty hook they've placed themselves upon for the excesses of Colonialism. Much wrongdoing occurred under colonialism ... but much progress was made as well. This sanctimonious attitude has gone from disgusting to downright dangerous. England, specifically must drop its shame. It's high time for England to take back her pride. Their formerly colonized residents must have higher social expectations imposed upon them otherwise the consequences will be predictably grim. 16,000 misfits indeed! (and how many in the country next door?!)
A functional family with a troubled child succeeds when the problem is honestly brought to light. Each member can then take responsibility appropriate to their roles. Same thing with countries. It is time to call the problem what it is. Denial will only serve dysfunction. This problem is way too serious to ignore. Our lives are in peril .. as are those of the Muslims everyone is trying to so "nice" about.
