Unfortunately "Their waffling, myopia, and general incompetence..." reflects the " waffling, myopia, and general incompetence..." of the entire west. There are reportedly 1.5 billion Muslims in the world. They acknowledged a 1% rate of participation in Islamic Terrorism. If we extrapolate that to the entire Muslim population that gives them an army of 15 million. I personally think their estimates are very low, and that from 3% to 5% (45 million to 75 million) Muslims are active Jihadists (Training, Diaspora Cell members, Mosque Management, Fund Raisers, etc) and up to 10% of the Muslim population support Jihad in one way or another. If true, that would give them an army (Active fighters and supporters) of up to 150 million. According to Mohammed and the Quran, these are the "Good Muslims". The remainder of the Muslim population (The "Bad Muslims") will switch over to which ever side appears to be winning when the time is right.

The west is blinded by its Left Wing Political Correctness, and will never see the threat until they find it a part of their lives. Then they will simply blame the conservatives and the capitalist system for all the ills of the world.
