Despair for whose country??

Reader comment on item: The Next London Bombing

Submitted by charles ziembo (United States), Jul 11, 2005 at 15:42

The last line of the article says it all, but would, I submit it applies also to the good ole USA. What ever happened to the people who waged unconditional war against Fascism during World War II? Where are the "Bull" Halsey's, "Terrible" Turner's, or Churchill's?? We seem to have turned into a nation of wimps who refuse to defend our way of life. We are in a vertiginous descent into an oblivion of our own making.
