Is Allah God?

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?

Submitted by Roger J. Benkovic (United States), Jun 28, 2005 at 10:04

Christians believe in the Triune God. That is, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are 3 distinct beings, but one God!

This is certainly different than the belief of Islam. It is also different than the belief of Judaism.

However, there are Christian Jews that keep all the traditions of Judaism except that they are true Christians.

I am surprised with your position that Christians believe in the same God as Islam and Judaism. I respect you as a scholar and your positions regarding radical Islam. However, your knowledge of basic Christianity is certainly lacking.
