Reader comment on item: There's a Name for Trump's Brand of Politics: Neo-fascism

...writes: "Think about it. In all his stump speeches, tweets, and debate performances, how many times have you heard him utter the words liberty, freedom, democracy, Constitution, Founding Fathers, rights, ideals, equality, opportunity?"

In other words, he doesn't wax philosophical or nostalgic about American history. So what? When the house is burning down, does one deliver an academic dissertation on the fine points of how to exit a burning building?

Given what Democrat Fascists, and their "Republican in name only" enablers, are doing to America, isn't it more important to get the reigns of power out of their paws, and hopefully into the hands of someone who may actually know what he's doing?

Yes, America was a wonderful ship, but she hasn't been kept up well at all. We need to get the bilge pumps working and patch the damage. It is a time for damage control, not maudlin reminiscences. There'll be a time for that later, IF we succeed in saving her.
