Neo fascist Donald....

Reader comment on item: There's a Name for Trump's Brand of Politics: Neo-fascism

Like yourself I am a life long Republican, centrist though at heart. Your observation regarding Trump's similarity to Mussolini in itself is extreme. Although Trump has not yet had the opportunity to show us his rhetoric vs. his reality of governance. You left out Obama's record as a comparison for all to see that left or right extreme political views are a style of fascism.. You know as well as myself that if we did not have the laws we have Obama's extreme style of governance ( in fact any extreme style of governance ) mirrors your trying to connect Trump to fascism. Obama had the US government take over 1/6th of the economy. Why not bring this full circle and compare the fascist remarks to all the candidates.

Show how Bernie will try & take over 90% of the economy & Hillary 75%. Show your readers that these extreme ideologies all follow the failed policies of the 19th century Marx, Lennon doctrines. The great experiment failed, so why are we following in its failed footsteps? Help people understand there is NO FREE! As well if you mandate wages instead of economics determining the value of a wage the end result is fewer earn more.

The cost of goods & services relative to wages rise & the majority of the people become more poor speaking in the sense of the overall population ... I am saying this in an "academic" context only. Why are wages linear to output which is a variable?

Daniel Pipes replies:

I wrote about Trump, not about the Democrats. Why are you hauling them into the discussion?
