Goldman and Glick

Reader comment on item: There's a Name for Trump's Brand of Politics: Neo-fascism

Submitted by Anne Julienne (Australia), May 13, 2016 at 04:36

Daniel,

David Goldman (PJMedia) came out today in support of Trump and Caroline Glick (Facebook) approved.

I've tried to comfort the downhearted by mentioning your own opposition to Trump here. It's good that there is a strong voice in this regard.

Trump wants to visit Israel soon and I shudder at the photo opportunities, with him cordially shaking hands with Netanyahu, and with the respective wives included at the dinner table. There'll be guilt by association and even more anti-Israel forces - and acts of terror - will be unleashed.

I so hope my fears are unfounded.

Thank you for this small sane space here.

Daniel Pipes replies:

Thanks for the kind words.

I find it easier to understand that politicians bend to this terrible force than intellectuals do so.
