worried about neo-fascisim? too late for that

A lot of what you attribute to Trump can easily be seen to apply to Obama - certainly the cult of personality, i.e "I've got a pen and I've got a phone". (non-enforcement of immigration laws, tolerance of sanctuary cities, if you must have an example.)

So we have already moved into partial neo-fascist mode.

Having crossed that Rubicon, or maybe River Styx, many voters would rather have a neo-fascist Trump than a neo-fascist Obama, Hillary, or Sanders. ceteris paribus, I agree. I am certainly persuaded that Trump will better for Israel than Hillary or Sanders (Sanders's leftism may well trump his Jewish background - pun intended)
