W.E.B. Griffin/Sean Patrick Griffin points of clarification

Reader comment on item: Philadelphia's Burqa Crisis
in response to reader comment: Philly

Technically speaking, W.E.B. Griffin DID write a book (The Witness) loosely about Philly's Black Muslim Mob. My book, Black Brothers, Inc: The Violent Rise and Fall of Philadelphia's Black Mafia (Milo 2005/07), which is referenced in reply to this thread, examines the role the Nation of Islam (especially Temple No. 12) played in the murderous syndicate's heyday of the 1960s and 1970s (including the infamous crime which is the fictionalized focus of W.E.B.'s The Witness). Oh, and to address a factually incorrect assertion elsewhere in the comments, I am not related to the far more prominent W.E.B. (indeed, W.E.B. Griffin is actually his pseudonym).

Thanks, however, for the interest. Sean Patrick Griffin
