Convenient oversights

Reader comment on item: Philadelphia's Burqa Crisis
in response to reader comment: So you finally admit your mistake

Submitted by Amin Riaz (United Kingdom), Apr 27, 2013 at 19:54

"So you admit now that I never said to ban the burka?"

Wrong - I admitted it a while back.

- - -

"if You object to your own inference, what has that to do with me? You are arguing with yourself then? You you think you are "smart" LOL"

Everything. Else, I have been right from the start - you didn't really have an argument AT ALL. All you wanted to do was post insults.

If banning the Burqa - as claim is NOT your argument . . . then what is it you were objecting to?

- - -

"I plainly state that there may need to be a case for the regulation of the wearing ao burkas in public places."

And what does that have to do with me? Why are you telling me this?

- - -

"You have embarked on an argument based on your own inferences?? Is that what you are saying? If that is what you are saying, then my calling your statements idiotic is not insulting, it is descriptive."

Calling someone's statements is NOT really insulting in the first place. CALLING a person an idiot is . . . the two are very different things.

For example - you called me a "liar" . . I asked about any such lie . . . that I have told. No answer!

- - -

"You are the one who need to read up the meaning of the word inference. If you are arguing a point on your own inferences you are bound to lose."

Wrong - as I have exposed that you did not have an argument - just list of insults to post . . . else what is your argument?
