Racism

Having read certain postings on this site, I believe there are certainly some well expressed and valid viewpoints. however it seems that the existence of a comparatively small number of muslim extremists and the threat posed by them (which should certainly be rooted out and severely dealt with) is being used as an excuse for pure and simple ugly racism and religious intolerance.

The suggestion that Muslims are deliberately attempting to alter demographics in states so they can 'take over' is a ridiculous conspiracy theory akin to that spread by the Nazis regarding the Jews.

Racial discrimination and religious intolerance towards Muslims alienates them further in our society, breeds extremist thoughts and gives excuses to existing extremists for their abhorrent and twisted beliefs.
