Intolerant totalitarian Islamofacism

Reader comment on item: [Theo van Gogh and] "Education By Murder" in Holland

If we in the U.S.A. and our European allies had any sense, we would be shipping Muslims out of our countries as fast as we could. It doesn't matter if they are moderate or radical, either way they don't want to assimilate and feel they have the obligation to impose their religious world view on us. Whether they want to do it peacefully or violently, the result will be the same: Sharia law and dhimmitude for us non-Muslims.

The biggest mistake we westerners are making concerning Muslim immigrants is that we project our tolerant worldview onto them. This is totally out of touch with reality and so we continually experience these shocking incidents of Islamic violence. A more realistic approach would be to look at the way Muslims have behaved historically and extrapolate it to what should be expected of them in the future. Commenter Romesh Chandler's example given about what has happened in India for the last 1200 years should give us a good idea of what to expect.

Anyone who thinks this clash with Islam is just going to go away is living in some kind of a fog. It's only going to get worse until we non-Muslims unite and take extreme actions to defend our lands and cultures from Muslim encroachment.
