Theo Van Gogh was not an angel

T. Van Gogh had his period of anti-Jewish provocation in the Netherlands before he discovered Islam. It didn't garner as much support nor, needless to say, as violent a response. His murder, however, remains a foul deed, and is emblematic of militant Islam's threat to Holland's democracy and tolerant liberal society.
