Mr. AbbasReader comment on item: Which Way Will Abbas Go? Submitted by Bill Waldron (United States), Jan 11, 2005 at 15:54 Mr. Pipes:I enjoy your commentaries, even if I do not always agree 100 %. On the issue of Israel and 1948, I have never doubted the right of Israel to exist. On the other hand, I am disturbed that the creation of the State by the UN has been just another UN blunder that has led to bloodshed. I think of Kashmir, India and Pakistan as another piece of work. To include North and South Korea, North and South Viet Nam, and assorted other territorial meddling by the UN that has always led to no good. What do you think, if you have a moment?
