Flip-flopReader comment on item: Which Way Will Abbas Go? Submitted by Jaladhi (United States), Jan 11, 2005 at 13:29 I am not surprised at Mr. Abbas' flip-flop. It seems that this is the characteristic of all Muslim leaders throughout the world. They say one thing for international audience and some thing quite different for their home audience.Their jihad will always go on in one form or other - that can never be given up until their goals are accomplished. If Abbas is serious about achieving peace with Israel, he has to stop the Palestinian terrorism once and for all. Otherwise, no amount of change in their leadership will mean anything and we will be back to square one - and jihad goes on.
