War on terror.

Reader comment on item: Salam Fayyad Says Yes to Jews Living in a Palestinian State?

Submitted by Naushad Omar (South Africa), Jun 18, 2011 at 13:16

The muslims have been the most just and tolerant rulers of Jerusalem in the past 2000 years. Under muslim rule, a quarter of Jerusalem was set aside for muslims, a quarter for jews, a quarter for armenian christians and a quarter for orthodox christians. Under christian rule during the crusades in 1099, all the muslim, jews and orthodox christians were wiped out.

The whole war on terror and the raisson de etre for the existence of al qaeda is to do with the dispossession of the palestinians and the establishment of US bases on muslim soil. Once these 2 issues are resolved, muslims will not be at war with the west who are the supporters of israel.
