What if it were not just the land?

What if it was more than just the land? What if it is the covenant with G_d, and the promise made to Abraham they covet? I believe that the tears at the Western Wall are a fitting fate for Israel and the Jewish People in the minds of many. What if the argument is with G_d, and their claim that he chose the wrong people.

A state for the Roman created and later Islam created people will never rest until who they consider the rightful inheritors of G_d's promise reign over the land, the people, and for many the world.

In the meantime we squabble over Israel, and another nation promised greatness wasted it's gift, and revels in desolation, wanting the same for Israel.
