Inaccurate information being put forthReader comment on item: Bush's Middle East Hopes [and His Failures] Submitted by Troy (Canada), Nov 21, 2009 at 01:00 You stated that the League of Nations authorized the 're-establishment of Israel' in 1917. You are mistaken. The League of Nations introduced the 'Mandate' system and awarded the Mandate for Palestine to Britain. In this mandate was included the Balfour Declaration which was the promise for the establishment of a Jewish homeland IN Palestine. There was nothing stating the 're-establishment' of Israel. And when you stated that the 'nomadic muslims' came to Israel to find employment from the Jews.... again you are extremely misguided. Are you not aware of the 'Conquest of Land' and 'Conquest of Labor' policies that were official policies implemented by the Jewish Agency? The 'Conquest of Labor' was the policy to only hire Jews.
