Not everything is in the political arena

Reader comment on item: Bush's Middle East Hopes [and His Failures]

Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), Jan 17, 2008 at 12:07

It is a form of schizophrenia that a person does what is wrong, and thinks it will come out alright in the end without the introduction of other variables.

As long as Bedouin culture is the driving force behind Islam, efforts to have tribalism emulate universality will result in more and more damage.

This is the crux, and interestingly enough, it is outside the political arena.
