Shiism is the minorty position in the Moslem world -- it is also the more flexible of the two variants (allowing more reinterpretation of the Koran) Iranians are also definitely a cut above the Arabs or Pakistanis as to imminent potential for civilization . I would basically hope for an Iranian victory in a Sunni-Shiite Moslem regional civil war, although I would not help either side.
