And why would Farhakhan call a Christian "Messiah"?

So far we have this: When referring to the United States he stated that he had been to all "57 States" in his campaign which happens to be the number of Muslim nations; about one month ago he referred to his religion in an interview on CBS as "My Muslim religion"; and there are his associations with Muslim organizations, like Farhakhan's, and visits to Muslim nations. Now we have this:

Last week Louis Farhakhan told a crowd of his fellow Muslims that Obama was the Messiah. As I understand it, Muslims await their messiah, or last caliph, just as Christians do. Why would a leader of Muslims elevate an avowed Christian, Barack, to the level of Messiah? Wouldn't that be blasphemy inasmuch as Louie's statement is essentially a repudiation of Islam and an affirmation of Christianity? If so, where are the protests of Louie's followers? Where is the condemnation from the world's Imams?

Does Louie know something we do not know?
