Mansoor: A tasfir on your case study of Allah's garden

Reader comment on item: Will Europe Resist Islamization?
in response to reader comment: Good point...let's clear it positively!!

Mansoor, you wrote to Jennifer:

>>Islam never ever allows to put gun on your head and tell you to observe "Shahada" i.e to testify.

[10:99] Had your Lord willed, all those on earth would have believed altogether. Would you, then, compel people, so that they become believers? [10:100] It is not (possible) for any one that he believes except with the will of Allah. And He makes filth settle on those who do not understand.<<

After telling us that Islam does not put a gun to one's head to repeat the shahada you spoil it by saying:

As for your question that why Allah is threatening the mankind to accept him. Well for this you will have to closely understand what I am going to tell you now!!'

This tells us that you are not denying that Allah is threatening us. Tell us clearly, Mansoor, whether Allah is threatening or not. Is Allah only going to dump filth on us for not believing?

>>Just have a case study. When you build a huge garden with lots of beautiful surroundings like ponds, lush green grass, the waterfalls and beautiful residences and then you allow people to visit or stay in that garden. Now...Some people accept that you have created that Garden with extremely hard work and with ultimate expertise. But others straightly refuse that they do not accept that you have created and designed this whole beautiful Garden. Then you show them proofs, the way you perceived it and the way you planned it and the way you decorated it. But they still say,, no we don't believe you ...in fact you didn't make it but some other person or group of persons made it. Simply they reject each and every proof you give to them. What will be your final reaction? just tell me sincerely<<

Mansoor, let us do a little tafsir on this case study of yours:

>>When you build a huge garden with lots of beautiful surroundings like ponds, lush green grass<<

This starting sentence tells us you have already assumed what you want to prove. The "you" in this case being Allah.

>> ..But others straightly refuse that they do not accept that you have created and designed this whole beautiful Garden. Then you show them proofs, the way you perceived it and the way you planned it and the way you decorated it.<<

Read the underlined, italicized words. What are the so-called proofs? The mere CLAIM that you are the one who planned it and decorated it? Here is the problem. Gullible believers like you took it for granted that the person boasting of having designed and built this garden is being truthful. Unbelievers like me are more skeptical. I will ask to see his engineering degree, the drawings which showed his designing powers and I will ask to see the receipts for purchase of the products in the garden. If he can't show me any of those, I know he is lying.

Another scenario: After the designer leaves you to visit the rest room, along comes another person with a big frown on his face and threatens you for going along with the lies of a charlatan. I am the real designer he tells you and shows you the bees sucking nectar from the beautiful flowers in the garden. He swears on the sun above and the fig and the olive trees in the garden that he is the real creator of the garden. He also shows you the little rocks shaped like little hills he claims he has placed on the fake lawn to prevent them from coming loose.

He glares at you and shouts, ‘How dare you accept anyone else who claims to be the owner and designer of the garden, haven't I shown you enough proofs? You are being obstinate if you don't accept my claim.' He points a threatening finger at a bag of fresh cow-dung manure and threatens to dump it on your head if you don't accept him as the designer and owner of the place. You, my dear Mansoor and people like you, cover behind a hill in fear.

Believers like you and form into supporters of one or the other claimant. Unbelievers like me will wait for the first god to finish his job in the rest room to watch a clash of titans when they confront each other.
But instead we are astounded as, instead of a clash of the titans, we see a clash of their supporters. They kill each other for doubting their pet designer's claim to the garden. The designers simply ignore each other, and more importantly, their supporters ‘chewing bullets and washing themselves in red water' on their behalf.

>> I think I made the logic...just think this way..Jenni<<

Does my tafsir of your case study meet the requirements of logic?

Regards

Plato
