Thanks for your comments - there are some that bear correction:

According to muslim scholars, muslims should live only in muslim countries permanently

Perhaps according to some, but there is no such consensus, and the example of Muhammad and early Muslim emigration to Ethiopia belies such an opinion - as do various hadith and scholarly consensus that Muslims living in non-Muslim lands must abide by the rule of the land as an islamic duty.

Also, I think you mis-argue against the statement that the land belongs to God...the Islamic belief in God entails that we believe that He created everything in existence, including the earth and its inhabitants, no matter their belief or lack thereof...

Millions of Muslims call the US "home", and aren't going anywhere, and nor do they want to...time to let go of the "go back to your own country" argument, especially where is hardly applies...
