Pakistan cannot be saved from islam

Pakistan, thanks to its British and Hindu legacy, has a kernel of liberal modernation.

Historically the liberal elements have never had the strength to take on islam.

Western educated benzir bhutto mothered Taliban. Convent educated Nawaz sharif wanted to be a Kalipha.

Pakistan army's jehadi mindset is well known, and a reason why osama and mullah omar are still at large.

If one wants quick fix solutions there are two options:

(a) arabs give up islam: islam falls - mecca and medina get liberated. This might induce rethink among Pakistanis. (probability for this option is remote)

(b) pakistan is occupied, islam outlawed, new constitution explicitly bans islam and control is given to forces that are committed in the welfare of pakistanis and against medieval ideology of islam.
