in response to reader comment: Another Christian puppet!!!

Dear Mansoor,

I would like to respond to two points you make. 1) The idea that Islam is turning Christianity into a religion of laughter is a condescending and insulting remark. I find it hypocritical to insult the Christian faith yet you have demanded that non-muslims respect Islam and Mohammed. Jesus said "Pull the plank out of your own eye before you pull the splinter out of your brothers."

If you are going to insult Christianity, then sir, be prepared for a deluge of cross-examination of your own. If you are going to throw numbers around, what you fail to include is the number of people leaving Islam, the Murtads. You will find only estimates because the Bukhari hadith has Mohammed saying clearly saying that whoever leaves Islam should be killed. Sharia law is very clear about this too. The penalty for ridda is death.

The world is a very big place as you know and the ex-muslims I know of live in fear of this. God is Love. Killing a person for changing their religion is not of God but human beings who claim to speak for God. Such an action is contrary to the nature of God, which is love and is the real sin. 2) Your statement about "managing between the Old Testament and New Testament" is not clear. Being a Christian, I have no problems "managing" the OT and the NT. The so called gospels that muslim enjoy parading in front of Christians i.e. Gospel of Thomas, Gospel of Barnabas, and the Gospel of Mary are examples rejected by the Catholic Church when Augustine called the Council of Carthage in 397 and the Canon of the Bible was collected and approved by Rome. The "G of B" was never rejected then because it has been proven to be a Medieval forgery. The Qur'an instructs muslims to ask Christians and Jews what their scriptures say.

I will tell you that considering any gospel other than found in the New Testament to justify or support a view in Islam contrary to Christianity is automatically rejected. Furthermore, the Islamic claim that Mohammed and the Qur'an are somehow alluded to, mentioned, foretold in the Bible, either OT or NT, is without any merit or truth. Christians and Jews do not recognize Islam's claim to such a belief.

Best regards
