Bush the VisionaryReader comment on item: Bush the radical Submitted by Paul M. Neville (United States), Nov 12, 2003 at 17:44 while the President may not be considered an intellectual, never in all my years in politics have I experienced the profound feeling that the truth is being revealed as when I have heard certain speeches by President Bush. There are no flourishes or bombast -- just a careful explanation of policy which in its simplicity is compelling. His Rose Garden speech explaining that there could be no Palistinian state unless they reformed into democrats made me say: well, of course! Why hadn't someone noticed before now?Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
