I agree that this president has taken bold new steps and is 'shaking up the status quo' but he falls short when he insists on a 'palestinian state' in the 'west bank'. There is no basis whatsoever on which to form an Arab 'state' on Jewish land, not to mention the security issues in forming such a state. It is simply in one word the 'wrong' thing to do. I feel he is very innovative and imaginative in his new approach to old problems, and I believe 100% that now, if not yesterday, is the time to FORCE the world dictatorial regimes into oblivion. After all, by what rights do these dictators hold power anyway? Therefore, they deserve only to be shot out of power and let their countries be run by their people.

Re: Israel and 'palestinians'

Jordan is the Arab state formed when British Mandated 'palestine' was partitioned. The 'west bank' was at best 'disputed' territory. I believe the land must go back to the original owners, the Jewish people. The Arabs could be given rights and benefits, no citizenship of Israel. They must be citizens of Jordan. Also, the US and EU must offer $$$ to those Arabs wishing to return to their countries of origin. After all, these 'palestinian' Arabs came in over a few hundred years for the work and must be allowed to return to their fatherlands, the same way Jews are allowed the right to return to Israel. Those Arab nations must be 'encouraged' to allow them in.
