Bush's "Radical" SpeechReader comment on item: Bush the radical Submitted by R. Dienstman (United States), Nov 12, 2003 at 10:53 Mr. Pipes hits the nail right on the head with these comments.Contrary to his opponents, Bush, has been completely candid with his progressive views on the Middle East. Perhaps those who disagree with the President's policies are putting their hands over their ears and then crying that there are "secret agendas" to this administration's goals in that troubled region of the world because they don't like what they're hearing. Mr. Bush's policies have been daring in their honest approach to the problems of the Middle East and, if the American people can exercise patience, perhaps some light can shine on that dark geography. This speech was brilliant in its straightforwardness and forsight. Too bad that it didn't get the attention that it deserved.
