Hi Daniel,

Im British as well - but you sound like an American. Britain had a hard time in the second world war for sure - but if you compare it with the experience of say Poland or Russia (who decided the outcome ), we had it easy - we played our part, but that is what it was.
Don't fall for "British, best in the world"
