what?Reader comment on item: Europeans: From Venus? Submitted by sonsam (United States), Sep 9, 2006 at 04:18 The last time i checked China and Russia are not part of the EU. Secondly we did fight a war with England and won. We fought a war against Russia "Cold War" and didn't have to fire a shot....won that also. Thirdly 25% of the world has been reduced to a small cold rainy Island. Your misfit children compose two of the largest countries in the world (U.S. and Australia) one being the only remaining superpower. We beat the Germans and I doubt very much that If England was allied with them It would of made much difference compared to the Germans being allied with Japan. Of course if you want to be allied with the Germans all the more power to you. Don't get me wrong I like and admire the English and our English history, but lets face it Europe has been under the thumb of the United States for sixty years. Believe me Americans would love nothing more for Europeans to start paying its dues and handling its own business (Balkins). The English are pretty good about this but the rest of Europe is a joke. Americans are stupid i'll admit we keep dying and paying for your problems. The EU is a joke, you guys can't agree on anything and the UN is on par.
