Yehoshua's comments aren't "treasonable," by Israeli standards they're mainstream. Which is the point: Israel is upside down, they don't know which is way up, and American Jews aren't to blame either.
It's solely a homegrown Israeli problem and it's only going to get worse since Sharon betrayed the National camp and the oligarchs have now tested the waters and have seen the people in general will let them get away with anything.
A country where the leadership fails to defend its own cities and repeatedly rearms the enemy which has just tried to destroy it - and still faces no public outcy - is a country that has lost all pride and self-respect and is soon going to be on the ropes.
