Pretty shocking and upsetting-what does one believe in? But I saw a photo in a book of my father's on Jews in the Soviet Union and the photo showed a Jewish leftist theater group onstage and three actors with their rear ends to the audience and on their rears the three Hebrew letters spelling kasher. I just never realized that these people had no feeling for Judaism at all and that they would've made great nazis-seriously. I bought into this crap while at UCLA in the late '60's and carried it until recently, until I came to San Francisco and saw an anti-Israel rally in Union Square. I changed real fast.
I'm at a loss for words, but not rage toward people like Landau. I can only imagine that people like Trotsky and all of those like him were just like Landau. When I think of those Jews who came from the ovens of Europe and many died in Palestine in order to have a Jewish state and then these folk who would sell that dream out for a song--very disturbing.
