in response to reader comment: Allah is God

Deu 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Unless your beloved prophet Muhammad is Jewish and from the seed of Jacob he cannot claim this prophecy.

I believe he is from the seed of Ishmael and whereas he has Abraham's blood, to be a brother of Moses he has to be one Jacob's descendants.

Now to fit John 14 Muhammad would have to be a spirit. Muhammad was clear that he was not a spirt or an angel but a flesh and blood man.

Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Joh 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
Joh 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
Joh 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.

The comforter which is weak English word for a weak Greek word is not a man but a spirit, an angel, "a holy one". One of the tens of thousands of holy ones.

Dan 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers (guardian angels) , and the demand by the word of the holy ones: (angels) to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men,
