Since the Berlin blockade in 1947 I have berated our government for the "proportional response" nonsense that had fueled our military. If we are going to fight, we should fight to win! That means taking the Sherman and Patton theories of warfare to the extreme - FIGHT TO WIN!

Take out the villages, caves, etc. where the attacks originate. And, start picking off the people at the TOP of the chain, not the bottom. The leaders would be much more circumspect if they knew that an attack would mean THEY were immediately the number one target.
