A lot to hope for?

Reader comment on item: Saudi Arabian Airlines Cleans Up Its Act

Submitted by Drew in Canada (Canada), Aug 31, 2007 at 16:54

This apparent change of heart may be nothing of the kind (Law of Unintended Consequences). With the offending passage in black and white in the airline's regs, Christians like me would know about the ban before stepping on the flight. Instead, even if I (for instance) had absolutely no intention of evangelizing but took my Bible along (as I do on any trip), I could get a very rude shock on arrival.

BTW, has anyone heard anything about Muslim women in Canada (and/or the US) being instructed to dress "traditionally"? I've been seeing more and more women wearing head scarves (and one full-face burqa) in the past few weeks, and I'm wondering if some "directive" might have been issued.
