Ban of non Islamic articles into Saudi Arabia.

I wonder why any non Islamic articles such as cross and star of David is banned to bring to Saudi Arabia, somebody should ask the Saudi Govt. to show them authentic instructions thru Quran that these things are banned to bring into the country. During the time of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) there was a thriving population of Jews and christians living peacefully side by side with the Muslims he never harmed them physically or ordered the Muslims to confiscate their religious symbols. Rather he was against the Kingship and royalties establishing in the name of Islam. Please do not judge Islam and the Muslims by what Saudis do and preach this royal family is against everybody who is not like them even they are against their own prophet.
