Reader comment on item: The Travails of Brooklyn's Arabic Academy
in response to reader comment: Arab or Muslim School is nothing but an Islamic Madarassa which will incite murder of innocent Americans.

Dear Morris:

I'm not sure you caught my meaning when I say I wrote to everyone and didn't receive so much as one response. All of the politicians know about this school. It's been a done deal for a long time. No hearings were held within the community to see if it was wanted or not, and it flies in the face of separation of Church and State in that this school will be teaching the Islamist religion - if not, there would be no cultural doctrine to teach at all. Plus, no other school has ever been devoted to teaching another culture. One studies other cultures as an adult, in college, not as a young teen in middle school.

The Board of Ed is not entertaining dissenting opinions at all, will not hold any hearings on the subject and won't so much as acknowledge your letter of concern. Neither will all of our politicians - including Schummer and Hillary & our Mayor.

Somewhere along the line America and all she stands for has been lost - I'm convinced its the continued sellout of America by our elected officials.

I think the only thing that can be done - after writing and calling all politicians to protest this school's existence is to protest every location it tries to obtain and should it open; to protest it each and every day it exists until it's driven out of existence.

This past week's news story about 26% of young Muslims here in America see nothing wrong with committing the violent acts they are known for in defense of their faith tells me that we really do have an Arab army in our midst. During WWII we knew who the enemy was and didn't encourage them to come here to live - today the Arab population grows, legal and illegal alike. While I don't doubt that there are 'good law abiding' Arabs - we can't tell who is who so all should be sent packing.

By the way, does anyone know how it is these Arabs feel their faith needs defending? From where I sit, no one has or had any interest in their religion at all. Its not about religion, it never is. Its about money, assets, and the abnormal need to rule the world.

We don't need a school to cultivate their future recruits.
