Dear Dr Pipes, Forceful or marriage-based conversions of non-Muslims to Islam by Muslims is a popular topic of discussion on your website. Non-muslims must know that when all is said and done, if you are converted to a different religion by force or otherwise, it is YOUR fault and not that of the other religions. If you are forced to become a Muslim, then you need to follow the Islamic doctrine of Taquiya (become a Muslim deceptively but go back to your original religion as soon as the threat disappear). or you need to die fighting. If you convert to Islam because you are love-struck, then obviously, it is your responsibility. If you convert to Islam by choice then, of course, you are responsible. In every case of conversion to Islam, the ultimate responsibility lies with the person who gets converted.

So stop blaming Muslims for converting others to Islam. We should only blame Muslims and Islam for absence of democracy, absence of freedom, violence-prone cultures, trigger-happy attitude, doctrinal-selfishness, and hypocrisy.
