The ignorance of Americans vis a vis Islam

Reader comment on item: In 1796, U.S. Vowed Friendliness With Islam
in response to reader comment: America is a strange country

I'm so glad that you are a logical, thinking person. You are one of the few... your average American sees Islam and automatically preaches "tolerance" and "negotiation". The reason for this sad state of affairs is sin on the part of Americans. When they ran God out of American society, God took common sense, decency, courage, selflessness, insight, wisdom and all other virtues with him. That's why Americans go through life blind to the millions of enemies it face at home and abroad. This is a nation of "let it all hang out" and "anything goes." Americans are now a weak and simpleminded people. Our enemies (Muslims, Germans, Russians, Chinese...etc.) know it and they are moving in for the kill.

How can America win against the enemy when it is so paralyzed by political correctness that it won't even identify the enemy? The curses that are destroying this nation are typical of the ones faced by nations that once knew the Lord but turned their backs on him. I thank the Lord for opening my eyes to the insanity that is rampant in America. I hope you know him because this once great nation is on the way out and the good Lord is the only way of escape.
