An intellectual hit-man at work.

in response to reader comment: US "Friendliness with Islam?"

I hope no one falls for this guy's ...message.

On this reasoning, it would be a rational and moral "backlash" to destroy 3000 people in London buildings today because of Britain's failure to recognize American independence in 1776.

Jihad is about our "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" for the individual person and about our Bill of Rights for the individual person. It's about our freedom! The jihadis tell us this over and over again. Funny thing: I've found that folks who hunt around for atrocity stories in American history are--in reality--against our basic ideals and are--without the guts to say so explicitly--attacking them. It's the selfish "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" that these people hate. I've heard this same B.S. thousands of times. It's an intellectual scam and it won't work on me even a fraction of a second! Don't let it work on you.
