Sadly, Dr. Pipes' article is right on the money. But that's not all. North American education schools (including Harvard) are just as monolithic, dogmatic, and perverse about teaching and learning as their larger institutions are about Islam, terrorism, and Israel. Education schools insist on training future teachers in insipid, mushy, touchy-feely methods that have been debunked many times over. Is it any wonder that institutions that have a contempt for "mere facts" can't think straight?

Keep up the good work, Dr. Pipes.
