Reader comment on item: Harvard Loves Jihad

Submitted by Terrall Putnam (United States), Jun 11, 2002 at 15:27

Academia in general has lost its collective focus, and its moral compass. I am appalled by Harvard's lack of concern, and lack of common sense regarding this "jihad issue".

I attended a private Christian University and it still followed Christian Principles. Harvard also started out as a Christian University but it has lost any connection to all Christian Principles. Now it seems that Harvard has also no concern for the well-being of our country.

By acting this way, Harvard and other Ivy League universities may be doing more harm than good in the USA. I am ashamed to say that the highest rated schools in our country do not even support the principles upon which our great nation, the United States of America was founded.

In Spite of them, God Bless the USA!!!
